What a great exhibition!
I just want to acknowledge the artist that showcased their art, they all created the most unique pieces of art and I am proud of them. This is what the art community is all about, bringing our craft together and get inspired by their work. I definitely felt inspired and the ideas I can bring into my craft. speaking of ideas, I gain a lot more insight on what photography really is about, it was a reminder for me that anyone can do the art of photography, and I mean anyone. The difference is, you must have a vision and the skills to make the artwork, sure, you can get a nice brand new, state of the art camera, but will the person behind the camera knows how to use it is the question.
the analogy is , in my mma experience no coach will choose a fighter to fight in the arena,unless that person in combat have the skills and the experience, must willing to commit into the craft. Another analogy i learn is that shooting RAW photos ( a photography format) is like a blank canvas, yes, the picture is there but where is the colors and the edit of the artist behind the camera. Photography is very unique in their own way like all forms of arts. This is something i will reflect and add onto my philosophy in my craft, im simply proud of what i do, proud for my fellow artist and the ones i worked along side with.
I like to share the photos of the gallery and of course my work hanged up on the wall, I dedicated this ACHIEVEMENT to my best friend, joshua Diaz, who passed away recently from his fight against cancer. He love art, especially animation, he was always been into the craft of writing stories, he loved writing. I know he is proud and would love to be at the exhibition to not only support me but just for the love of art.This is for you man, i know you'll be watching over everyone close to you, INCLUDING myself, i love you brother.
